Driving for food aboard the Mitsubishi Outlander

Happy Fall friends!

It’s been a while since my last blog post. I took a long summer break and headed home to Colombia to visit family and had an incredible time.

But I’m back in full swing because Fall is such an inspiring season for me and many of you. I feel like it’s a fresh start without the pressure of the New Year resolutions kind of thing.

Temperatures drop and it is lovely to be outside, I honestly can’t stand the summer heat unless I’m poolside with a frozen margarita in my hand, am I right?!

One of my very favorite things to do is explore town and visit restaurants that are a bit out of way. I usually head out to the East Valley which has an amazing food an entertainment offering. This time, I had the chance to test drive the Mitsubishi Outlander for the second time. The more I drive this car, the more I like it.

The first thing I mention everybody about this car is the rear view camera. For me, this feature is a must-have in any car. While I still make sure I physically look at my surroundings, having the rearview camera is always a nice thing to have. The Mitsubishi Outlander rearview cam gives you a front, back and side to side picture of your surroundings which makes it amazing in my opinion.

The next thing I love the most is the spacious trunk. You can jam pack it and you still have plenty of space and comfort, it seriously is huge!

Finally, the third-row seat! Can I get an amen here? While we only have one child, we are still considering expanding our family whether, with another child or a fur baby, a third-row seat is a must. It definitely came out pretty handy when we met some friends for dinner. We accommodated 2 kids and 4 adults and had plenty of free space. I just loved it!

Back to the food topic, we explored a few new spots with our Mitsubishi. Our first stop was House of Tricks in Tempe, Arizona. This restaurant is an institution here, it’s been in business for 31 continuous years and it offers amazing locally-sourced dishes.

Another spot we discovered aboard the Mitsubishi Outlander was Caveman Burgers in North Phoenix. This was a spot that was surprisingly good! They also use local ingredients and source responsible farmed proteins. It has been one of the best burgers I had had lately.

And last but not least was Ladera. This restaurant in the heart of Sunny Slope is by far one of my favorites. Their patio is to die for, so much so that even though it’s still quite hot in AZ, we couldn’t resist dining outside (with misters) because the patio is that beautiful.

Overall I loved driving the Mitsubishi Outlander, it has a lot of safety features that I love, the comfort and style I look for in a car and when we are ready to expand our family and upgrade our vehicle, Mitsubishi will definitely be top of mind for us.
