Brie En Croute (Puff Pastry Brie) is a delicious and easy holiday appetizer

- 8 OZ Brie
- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
- 2 Tablespoons Dried cherries Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Pecans Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tablespoon milk
- 1 Tablespoon brandy Optional
Make the egg wash by whisking the egg and milk.
In a bowl mix the sugar, brandy, cherries and pecans.
Place the brie in a puff pastry sheet, leave about a 1 inch border and brush egg wash around the Brie.
Add the cherry and pecan mix on top and cover with the other puff pastry
Cut in a circle, press the edges and brush the top with the remaining egg wash.
Bake at 350 for about 18-20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.
Let it rest for 15-20 minutes and enjoy
