Spicy Mango Margarita on the Rocks

Ingredients
  

For the simple syrup

  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Boiling water

Margarita

  • 1 ounce Tequila silver
  • 2 Limes
  • 1 cup Mango diced
  • ½ cup Ice for serving
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup recipe follows
  • Mint for garnish
  • 2 Jalapeno slices To infuse tequila

Instructions
 

Make the simple syrup

  • Mix the sugar and boiling water, whisk well and let it sit at room temperature.
    ½ cup Sugar, ½ cup Boiling water

Margarita

  • Add the 2 jalapeño slices to your tequila and let it sit for about 15 minutes, remove the jalapeños and discard.
  • Add mango, lime juice, tequila and simple syrup.
    1 ounce Tequila, 2 Limes, 1 cup Mango, ½ cup Ice
  • Blend well until fully combined and serve immediately
