    Halloween Charcuterie Board

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This Halloween Charcuterie Board is the perfect centerpiece for your table. Shaped like a witch's hat, this board is spooky and cute.

You only need a few supplies and your favorite charcuterie items to make this impressive-looking appetizer for halloween.

Why you will love this recipe

This charcuterie witch hat is super easy to make but looks impressive!

You can customize it however you like it! The only must-have in this charcuterie display is the prosciutto that helps shape the hat top.

The inspiration for this spooky hat comes from chef Genevieve on Instagram.

    Supplies

For this charcuterie cone I used this styrofoam (Size (5): 3.7" x 8.9") from Michaels. We were hosting a small group of 10 people (6 kids).

You'll need toothpicks and plastic food wrap.

To display the hat, I used a cake stand.

    Ingredients

    • Prosciutto: I used the Priano brand from ALDI.
    • Grapes: I used green grapes. If you are using green olives opt for red grapes to add contrast.
    • Olives: I used black olives to sprinkled around the base of the hat.
    • Cheese: I used white cheddar cheese and also a sage cheddar cheese from ALDI. For contrast I also used a sharp cheddar cheese.
    • Salami slices: I added a few folded slices of salami to the hat for more color contract and variety.
    • Cheese and meat fingers: I used a Panini Tray from ALDI.

    Step by step instructions

Wrap the styrofoam cone in the plastic food wrap.

Wash your grapes and dice the cheese evenly into bite size cubes.

Start at the base of the cone with 2 rows of green grapes.

Add a row of white cheddar cheese followed by the folded salami slices.

Add another row of cheese, I used the sage cheddar here and finished with the sharp cheddar.

Leave about 2 inches of the cone free and wrap a prosciutto slice around it.

Keep adding prosciutto slices and start shaping it sideways to resemble the tip of a pointy hat.

I added the cheese and meat Panini "fingers" around the cake stand and put some black olives in between each slice.
