I’m Isabel, and I’m so excited to welcome you to Tasty AZ, a lifestyle blog focused on recipes, restaurants, and travel.

I’m a makeup fanatic, traveler, and foodie living with my family here in beautiful Arizona! I was raised in Colombia, and we visit at least annually to spend time with more than 100 family members. To say we are family oriented would be an understatement.

About Tasty AZ

Tasty AZ is a place to showcase local restaurants, share my Latin-inspired recipes, and document our travel stories. Here you’ll find everything from authentic Colombian recipes made easy to viral TikTok recipes you can easily recreate at home along with featuring some of our favorite local spots.

You can always find me eating good tacos, drinking a bubbly mimosa, or enjoying dessert. Here I’m sharing with you the very best food that I find as I explore Arizona and beyond, and I aim to inspire you to make flavorful recipes with a Latin-infused twist in your own kitchen.

I’ve been married to my husband for over 10 years, and he’s still the smartest and hardest working man I know! Our son is a wonderful kid who loves basketball, soccer, and football. His little sister is just learning to talk and has such a bright personality. A lovely Labradoodle named Bella rounds out our family.

Deciding to start a food blog was a no-brainer for us. We love trying new restaurants and are always on the hunt for some good Mexican food! Dessert is my absolute favorite, and when I can find the time, I love to bake.

Adding travel blogging to the mix also made sense since we’ve got a lot of experience there as well. Fun fact: I love going outside of my comfort zone so much that I even got a degree in international business and political science!

It’s also really important to me that we continue to expose our children to as many different cultures as possible. Our favorite thing to do together as a family is travel the world. I speak Italian and Spanish myself and have a serious love of European movies. My favorite is The Life of Others.
