For this recipe you can use any of your favorite apples. I love Honey Crisp but any variety will work.

Wrap the apples in the puff pastry using thin strips until the apple ring is fully covered.
They don't need to be neat or perfect. The puff pastry will expand while baking. This is a perfect fall bake to make with your kids!
