Ingredients

  • 1 Puff pastry sheet I used the brand Roll-It
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • ¼ cup Easter M&M's
  • 2 Tablespoons Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut your puff pastry in half.
  • Spread the Nutella on 1 half and cover with the other puff pastry half.
  • Cut the puff pastry into 1 inch strips. Reserve 3 strips and cut each of those in half lengthwise (½ inch each.
  • Roll your 1 inch strips into a circle like a cinnamon roll.
  • To make the ears by rolling the ½ inch strips by folding the ends towards the center of the strip. It creates a shape similar to a heart.
  • Add the ears to the rolled puff pastry to create the bunny shape.
  • Bake at 375F for about 15 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Add a little bit of Nutella under the M&M's to attach them to the puff pastry bunnies.
  • Create the bunny face with 2 M&M's of the same color for the eyes and a different color for the nose.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

If you use a dark baking sheet, the pastries cook faster at the bottom and might burn. Use a light colored baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
