Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sliced sourdough bread I used the ALDI brand
  • 12 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cartons Tomato soup
  • 2 tablespoons butter or more as needed
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 12 candy eyes optional

Instructions

  • Assemble the sandwiches by spreading butter on the bread, add 2 slices of cheddar cheese and cover with another piece of bread.
1 loaf sliced sourdough bread, 12 slices Cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons butter
  • In a large skillet cook the sandwiches until the cheese melts and they turn light golden brown. Set aside to cool down before cutting them with the spider cookie cutter.
  • In a soup pot over medium heat, reheat the soup.
    2 cartons Tomato soup
  • Divide the soup evenly into six bowls and drizzle one small circle in the center and a bigger circle on the outside, use a toothpick to drag both circles towards the center to create a spiderweb design.
    ¼ cup heavy cream
  • Add the grilled cheese sandwiches on the side, decorate with small candy eyes.
    12 candy eyes
  • Serve and enjoy.
