    Viral Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

These Viral Dubai Chocolate Covered Strawberries are a delicious treat that has gone viral based on the Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Bar.

This recipe is a fun twist on the original Dubai Chocolate Bar and it is so good because it incorporates fresh strawberries to balance the sweetness of this treat.

    Ingredients

    • Strawberries: Chopped fresh strawberries is what we use in this recipe.
    • Chocolate: Melted milk chocolate is what I used in this recipe. I love the Guittard milk chocolate.
    • Heavy cream: To combine with the chocolate and make a ganache. It is optional but I loved the results!
    • Pistachio cream: I have a delicious homemade recipe for this.
    • Kaitifi: Shredded phyllo dough. Can be found online or in a Mediterranean grocery store.

Unlike the viral Dubai chocolate, this recipe doesn't require tempered chocolate, which is a technique to make chocolate bar shinny and snappy when you bite it.

    Recipe steps

This recipe is so easy to make! It is great to make with kids and have them help out in the kitchen.

    Pistachio cream and kataifi filling

Make the pistachio/kataifi filling. You will need either store-bought pistachio cream or you can try my homemade pistachio cream recipe.

Toast the kataifi with some butter until golden brown and crispy. Mix with the tahini and pistachio cream.

Ingredients to make the viral Dubai chocolate including tahini, pistachio cream and kataifi.

Prep the strawberries and melt the chocolate

Prep the strawberries, cut them into halves or bite size pieces.

If making the chocolate ganache, warm up the heavy cream and combine with the chocolate chips and mix well until you get a smooth chocolate sauce.

If only using melted chocolate, melt it in a double boiler with water or in the microwave in 30 second intervals until fully melted.

    Assemble the cups and enjoy!

Start layering the strawberries, melted chocolate and pistachio filling until your cups are filled up to the rim. Serve and enjoy.

    Leftovers

If you have leftover chocolate ganache, store in a jar with a lid and place it in the fridge for up to 3 days.

If you have leftover pistachio filling, it will stay crunchy for days. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
