Fall is my favorite season of the year, not only the weather is much cooler in Phoenix, but also there are lots of culinary events that make this season a foodie's most anticipated time of the year.
This week I will be joining the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at one of their Wine Maker Dinner series. I'm very excited about this event and look forward to a great selection of wines and food. The Wagner Wine Maker Dinner will be at Alto Ristorante, one of the resort's restaurants, acclaimed by Wine Spectator for their unique wine program, an award that recognizes Alto as a top destination for wine lovers.
Alto Ristorante is one Scottsdale's top Italian restaurants and specializes in seasonal, fresh, Italian dishes. The wine and Italian cheese and meat selections at Alto are a crowd pleaser among visitors. The romantic atmosphere with outdoor firepits and complementary Gondola rides (Yes! how romantic, right?), make of Alto Ristorante a perfect spot for date night.
Also, remember that this week is Arizona Restaurant Week and Alto is one of the participating restaurants. This week of September 15 through the 24, you can enjoy a Prix-fixe menu where guests can enjoy a three-course meal for $44 per person.
So if you are a wine lover, plan your evening around the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale’s 4-course wine dinner with Wagner Family of Wine. You may recognize them from their well-known Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon. The reception starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $85 per person, and seating is limited at this exclusive event. Be sure to RSVP to 480-444-1234 to secure your seat.
Upcoming events include a wine Dinner on October 19th with Rombauer Vineyards, a Napa Valley winery, famous for great Chardonnay. Make sure you mark your calendar and attend all the great dining events of this Fall season.
Stay tuned for my recap of this event!
