- 2 cups Broccoli florets fresh or frozen
- 16 Ounces Spaghetti
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
- 2 Garlic cloves Minced
- Pepper to taste
- ½ tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Add 4 cups of water to a pot and bring to a boil
Add the broccoli florets and cook on medium high heat for about 4 minutes until bright green

Remove the broccoli from the pot and set aside
In the same pot, add salt (about ½ tablespoon) and add the spaghetti and cook for about 10 minutes until al dente.

Drain the pasta and reserve the water
In a skillet, over medium-high heat, add the butter and minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant

Add parmesan and pasta water (1 cup)
1 cup Parmesan Cheese
Cook for 1 minute until the cheese and pasta water form a creamy sauce
Add the broccoli and spaghetti and cook for 1 more minute until the pasta is coated in sauce
