Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 16 Ounces Spaghetti
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 2 Garlic cloves Minced
  • Pepper to taste
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
 

  • Add 4 cups of water to a pot and bring to a boil
  • Add the broccoli florets and cook on medium high heat for about 4 minutes until bright green

  • Remove the broccoli from the pot and set aside
  • In the same pot, add salt (about ½ tablespoon) and add the spaghetti and cook for about 10 minutes until al dente.
    16 Ounces Spaghetti
  • Drain the pasta and reserve the water
  • In a skillet, over medium-high heat, add the butter and minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 Garlic cloves
  • Add parmesan and pasta water (1 cup)
    1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Cook for 1 minute until the cheese and pasta water form a creamy sauce
  • Add the broccoli and spaghetti and cook for 1 more minute until the pasta is coated in sauce
  • Serve and enjoy
