Easy Smoked Bbq Pulled Pork Shoulder

Ingredients
  

  • 10 lbs Bone-in pork shoulder
  • ½ cup Liquid yellow mustard
  • ½ cup BBQ rub
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Apple juice
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your smoker at 275F.
  • Prep the pork shoulder by removing almost all excess fat.
  • Coat the pork with mustard and add the BBQ rub until all sides are evenly covered.
  • Place the pork of the grates of the smoker. Spritz with the apple juice every hour to keep it mosit.
  • When the pork reaches 165F, remove from the smoker and place in an aluminum foil pan.
  • Add the butter evenly on top of the pork and cover with the brown sugar.
  • Place back on the smoker until internal temperature reaches 190F.
  • Allow the pork to rest and reabsorb its juices for about 45 minutes.
  • Shred the pork and add the BBQ sauce.
  • Serve and enjoy
