This easy watermelon lemonade is perfect for when you pick a watermelon that is not ripe enough and you want to enjoy a sweet treat.

- 8 cups watermelon cubes 1 whole large watermelon, peeled and cubed.
- 4 Lemons About ⅔ cup juice.
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- Ice for serving
- Mint or basil for garnish
Place the watermelon in a blender and blend until pureed and liquified. Pour the juice through a fine mesh sieve and reserve.
8 cups watermelon cubes
If using a masticating juicer, you will not need to strain the juice.
In a small sauce pan add the sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
¼ cup sugar, ¼ cup water
Juice the lemons and combine them with the watermelon juice.
4 Lemons
Stir in the simple syrup and chill in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Serve over ice and garnish with mint or basil.
