Driving for food with Mazda to Sedona, AZ

This week I had the opportunity to test drive a Mazda 3 grand touring 2017 so I took it with me on a food adventure to one of my favorite spots; Sedona, AZ.

Driving out of my way to get good, I mean really good food, has always been something I do not hesitate about. I remember when being pregnant I would drive 40 miles to satisfy my cravings fro Cuban sandwiches. I do not have the “I’m pregnant” excuse anymore but I still drive wherever needed to enjoy good food.

My day trip to Sedona aboard the Mazda 3 was nothing but perfect, I truly love how comfortable the seats are, which made my drive so relaxing and easy. When I had the pleasure to meet the head designer at Mazda, she talked about how the car and the driver synch together, that is what you feel when you drive a Mazda, it is as if the seats were specifically designed for you.

If you have been to Sedona before, you know how breathtaking the views are, at times it is hard to concentrate on driving because of the beauty of the landscape, that is why I loved the “Active Driving Display” feature on this car, where a clear screen, pops in front of your windshield and you can see a digital reading of the speed limit and your own speed. You literally do not have to take your eyes off the road, not even for a second, to keep track of your speed, it was by far my favorite upgrade in this car.

For this quick trip to Sedona, I really wanted to try Mariposa Latin Grill which I have only heard great things about. It was a truly exquisite culinary experience, my favorite thing was the yucca fries and the corn and cheese empanadas. The view is simply spectacular, the restaurant is beautiful and makes a perfect place for a date night, I can’t wait to visit again.

Big thanks to Mazda for letting me borrow this beautiful Mazda 3 Grand Touring to discover the beauty of Sedona, AZ and enjoy a fun day with filled with delicious food.
