Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Espresso

This Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Espresso is the new trending drink that Starbucks launched a few days ago and I couldn’t wait to recreate it at home.

These Starbucks drinks are the latest TikTok craze for a reason. They are super easy to make at home and they will cost you a fraction of the price!

All you need is oat milk (which is super easy to make), a double espresso, some ice and a homemade brown sugar and cinnamon syrup.

How to make oat milk at home

To make your oat milk all you need is a cup of rolled oats and 2 cups of water. I like a to add a bit of vanilla extract for flavor.

Blend the oats and water for about 1 minute, use a cheese cloth to strain the milk and store in the fridge. I like to consume the oat milk within 2 days of making it.

How to make Brown Sugar syrup

To make the brown sugar syrup you need 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of water. Bring them to a boil and add a hint of cinnamon and vanilla extract.

To make this coffee I used a Nespresso vertuo pod. One of my favorites is the Bianco Leggero. For this recipe I used the Half Caffeinato.

If you don’t have a espresso machine you can use a strong brewed coffee.
