Making perfect hard-boiled eggs in the Instant Pot is easier than you think and a real time-saver.

If you are new to the Instant Pot world, making hard-boiled eggs should be one of your first recipes to try.

They are fairly simple to make and a great addition to any salad, bowl or just the perfect snack on their own.

You may ask why use the Instant Pot when the stove is just an easy and reliable method.

The great thing about making your eggs in the Instant Pot is that you are able to control the temperature a lot better than in the stove, yielding perfect eggs every-single-time.

    The 3-3-3 method

There are different methods to make eggs in the instant pot. The time will depend on how "done" you will like your eggs.

In my case, I'm a big fan of medium eggs with a creamy yolk that is not too hard but definitely not soft boiled.

The 3-3-3 method is as follows: 3 minutes in the instant pot in high-pressure setting, 3 minutes natural release, then quick release and then 3 minutes in an ice bath.

    The 5-5-5 method

If you prefer your eggs hard-boiled with a firm yolk, then the 5-5-5 method is your golden ticket to perfect eggs.

The 5-5-5 method is as follows: 5 minutes in the instant pot in high-pressure setting, 5 minutes natural release, then quick release and then 5 minutes in an ice bath.

    The 2-2-2 method

If soft boiled eggs are your thing, then the 2-2-2 method is your golden ticket to perfect eggs.

The 2-2-2 method is as follows: 2 minutes in the instant pot in high-pressure setting, 2 minutes natural release, then quick release and then 2 minutes in an ice bath.
