    Champagne Brunch

Brunch and Champagne are definitely two things that shall go together, what kind of brunch is it if you don't drink at least one mimosa, right?

Sushi Roku at the W Hotel in downtown Scottsdale put together a mind blowing menu for brunch and I got a preview of the amazing selection of dishes that they are offering in their Monthly "Champagne Brunch". Every second Sunday of the month you can enjoy this exclusive menu at Sushi Roku. So mark your calendar because October 8th is the next Champagne Brunch.

To start we tried their bone marrow. It can be a little intimidating to try but it was so worth it, not only because of the great mix of flavors but also because of the health benefits that bone marrow gives you.

It was beautiful, colorful, refreshing  it was a delight just to look at it, it was one of those dishes that I hesitate to eat because they are just too pretty.  I always get pass that moment though ? I devoured this salad and nothing was left on my pretty plate.  Stone fruit salad with chèvre cheese

It was impossible to stop eating this amazing king crab dip on a bed or bread and smashed avocado, it was delightful.  King Crab toast with avocado

When I thought I couldn't eat one more bite, chef Johnny sent this unbelievable chicken and waffles plate to our table, that's an offer you can't say no to. Specially since they are not your typical chicken and waffles; these were Brie and Thyme savory waffles with salt and pepper jidori chicken nuggets glazed with balsamic caramel and kool aid fruit pate. I couldn't eat it all but had to try it.  Chicken and waffles   Chicken and waffles  Thank you so much Sushi Roku for hosting this amazing brunch. We are honored we had to try this menu before its official launch. Make plans for this upcoming Sunday October 8th and treat yourself to a great brunch experience at Sushi Roku.
